Computer Society

Computer Society of MIT is a student body that enhances computer skills of students from all streams through regular theory and practical sessions. Weekly classes include C language, Linux, and PRE / CATIA support for mechanical streams. In collaboration with the Personality Development Association, aptitude support for final-year students is also conducted.

A monthly technical event, JUGGERNAUT, is organized to improve domain skills in each stream. Two major Tech-Fests are conducted every year: ENIGMA and CARTE BLANCHE. Activities, previous question sets, galleries, and updates are maintained at CSMIT.

Key Initiatives:

  • ENIGMA: Annual intra-college technical event.
  • JUGGERNAUT: Mind-boggling activities based on general aptitude.
  • CARTE BLANCHE: Student movement supporting creation of free software.
  • Online APS Test: Grooming in aptitude, mathematical logic, and formulas.
  • Community Service: Computer learning support for Government Schools, orphanages, and homes for physically challenged students.

Web Team

The Web Team of MIT is a student organization that maintains institutional websites and supports digital communication infrastructure. The team keeps websites updated with placement notices, academic news, and periodic workshop / conference announcements.

Major Website Responsibilities:

Core Functions:

  • Issuing institutional mail IDs for teaching staff under the mitindia.edu domain via Google applications.
  • Monitoring official inboxes and forwarding important requests to relevant staff members.
  • Conducting training classes for junior students to continuously strengthen the Web Team.
  • Publishing urgent updates such as placement circulars and weather / holiday notifications.

Two Day Training Programme on Data Entry and Documentation for Sector and Village Health Nurses (SHN & VHN)

This two-day training programme was conducted to enhance the data management and documentation skills of Sector Health Nurses (SHN) and Village Health Nurses (VHN). The sessions focused on improving accuracy in healthcare data entry, maintaining proper records, and understanding documentation standards essential for effective healthcare service delivery. Participants were provided with both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure to digital data handling systems.
